Cancer in our region

The BSWRICS catchment covers approximately 33,000 square kilometres, stretching from the tip of the Queenscliff Heads across to the South Australian Border. It is home to Geelong, Victoria's largest provincial urban centre, and a number of significant regional towns including Hamilton, Portland, Colac and Warrnambool. The current population of the Barwon South West region is recorded at 380,000. We have ten sites providing cancer care - Barwon Health, Geelong Private Hospital, Epworth Geelong, St John of God Health Care - Geelong & Warrnambool, Colac Area Health, Western District Health Service, South West Healthcare - Warrnambool & Camperdown and Portland District Health.
